how does this thing work?

I touched a channel (CNN International) and now I cant get out of it. There is no next, back, or home button. I cant swipe to a new channel. Multifinger touch does nothing. I closed the app and reopened, same channel.

All I wanted was some German language TV channels to supplement my learning. Guess Ill keep looking.
